In this first-level course, through exclusive theoretical and practical instruction, the student will begin to acquire the basic skills of pattern-making and tailoring craftsmanship, in line with the canons of traditional Italian tailoring and the rules of good taste that have made Made in Italy craftsmanship famous.

Professional Tailoring I
400-hour course

- Study size charts (on size and custom-made) and fit
- Construction and realization of the paper pattern by hand
- Model testing and defection
- Study and creation of garments: skirt, pants, shirt, jackets, dresses and their respective variations.
- Cutting, tailoring and study of sartorial finishing: hand, machine
- Merchandise: fabrics, materials and instrumentation (part 1)
- Processing data sheet
- Theoretical lessons in tailoring (part 1)

  • You can start this course at any time of the year; registration is always open;
  • You can decide to attend 8 / 12 / 16 h per week (2 / 3 / 4 classes per week) according to your needs;
  • The schedule and days of attendance will be arranged periodically with the student according to his or her availability and available workstations;
  • The program is the same as the Academic Year of Professional Tailoring Level I course, the difference of the two lies in the enrollment and attendance methods listed above

The first level course is common to all our students. At the end of it, the student may choose to finish his or her course of study, thus obtaining a FREQUENCY CERTIFICATE, or to continue his or her education by choosing one of the advanced courses from among those offered.
